I am the Vice President of Research and Development at Auricle, Inc, a company I co-founded with Susan Shore, PhD and Jonathan Pearson. Auricle aims to commercialize the tinnitus therapy developed over many years in Susan's lab.I completed my PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan's Department of Otolaryngology, Kresge Hearing Research Institute, along with undergraduate degrees in biomedical and electrical engineering and a master's degree in biomedical engineering. I am very interested in neurophysiology/engineering, machine learning and systems-level development, with a focus on commercial applications. My experience broadly ranges from real time embedded systems and signal processing to biological modelling, in-vivo electrophysiology and machine learning. My previous experiences have been in industry, developing embedded systems, and academia, researching the mechanisms of tinnitus, or ringing in the ears.
