Attend Constructability / construction readiness reviews at design stage to ensure company and national standards are adhered to. Ensure all SIPD contractors engaged in Rigging and Lifting activities are fully compliant to international standards. Ensure that all rigging and lifting inspections are up to date. Assist and provide guidance with rig moves and mobilization Provide reliable and responsive guidance to contractors for the project in compliance with project and legislative requirements. Focal point for developing local Iraqi in Rigging and Lifting competence and compliance. Handle delegated elements of the construction activities in the development of the Majnoon Oil Field and ensure that the contractor implements the construction scope are per project requirements.

Suspended activities when there is a potential or actual threat of human health, harm to the assets or the environment means any potential unsafe operation shall be stopped and remedial actions taken to resume works. Ensured that loading and offloading operations of materials. Reported and investigated any incidents, accidents occurring at base or during lifting operations. Oversee and assist with rig moves and assembly Closely monitored compliance, assessed lifting activities, trained crane operators and riggers to bring up to acceptable standards, load testing and set up data base for all lifting equipment, streamlining rig moves in order to decrease down time and maximize drilling program Meticulously performed physical inspection of all incoming and outgoing handling, lifting and transportation equipment both for Company equipment and for equipment supplied by contractors, and verified load test certificates for lifting equipment and conformity of other handling equipment. Diligently checked all certificates for new equipment received to ensure that they comply purchase orders sent out from base and to check records of lifting equipment and checked the validity of test or expiry date of certificates to take action for necessary retest / scrapping or tagging. Review and approve critical lifting operation plans and ensure lifting plan is in place. Conduct Inspection and Training for new Equipment and Personnel.

Gorgon Lng Barrow Island

Employed on the construction of a three train LNG terminal and jetty load out facility Responsible for all project heavy lifts, general site craneage activities, unloading of ships cargo Barges ect, and delivery to site of all oversize/heavy equipment items. Heaviest transport moves will be three AFC rack modules at 6700t there will be 21 modules ranging from 3000 - 5800t Pro-active in all activities, also involved in the marine activates overseeing heavy lifting and placement of 550t concrete caissons for the construction of the LNG jetty tug pens and heavy load out facility ensuring that all operations are conducted in a timely and safe manner in accordance with the Client and project HSE requirements and procedures. Reporting of any incidents, inspection of equipment and maintaining a good working environment for all personnel involved on the Project. Involved in decision making and weekly progress meetings, with the PMT, and their engineers regarding all lifting and transport studies prior to their submission and approval. all of this to be carried out on a class A nature reserve

KBR M.W.Kellogg -SHELL Pearl GTL Project - Qatar Assigned to the EPCM HSSE department. Duties consist of the inspection load testing and approval of 345 site cranes, lifting equipment, 4,000 pieces of heavy equipments and plant. Review and approval of all lifting plans and rigging studies. Oversee all heavy haulage movements. Daily spot checks at worksite covering the safety aspects as well as spotting any potential near-misses. Investigating of site incidents related to lifting and heavy equipment. Competency assessment and training of crane operators, plant operators and riggers. Commissioning support for all equipment and rigging requirements in preparation for introduction of gas and hydrocarbons.

on a Major Jetty refurbishment with Besix-Kier JV. Major LNG ProjectDuties consisted of the supervision of the dismantling and refurbishment of the former Esso Jetty at Milford Haven. Supervision of 1 sheer leg 3,500 ton heavy lifting barge, 6 floating barges, 4 Jack up rigs with cranes from 25t-750t ringer, all Land based cranes and all associated personnel. Heavy lifts up to 1600t. Revue and approval of all Lifting studies, Method statements, Risk Assessments. Competency assessments of crane operators and riggers. Daily inspections of all lifting equipment ensured that all work was carried out under Permit to work Worked closely with HSSE to ensure compliance with Civil & Marine Safety Standard's, (SOLAS) Safety of Life At Sea and (LOLER) Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment regulations.
