City Year is an education-focused organization partnered with AmeriCorps working to ensure 80% of the students in the schools City Year serves reach 10th grade on track and on time in 27 urban U.S. public schools, and through international affiliates in the U.K. and Johannesburg, South Africa.▲ Coached a focus group of ten fourth-grade students to ensure literacy improvements with daily in-classroom reading interventions and developing critical goals with their teachers and school principal▲ Co-taught an after-school class of 25 students, and led daily lessons as a part of City Year’s Extended Learning Time
