Beinglas Campsite is a thriving business based on the West Highland Way. Onsite we have various accomodation options such as B&B rooms, hiking huts, bell tents, over 80 camping pitches and 12 motorhome pitches.In addio to this, we also operate a lively bar and restaurant and a shop. Main DutiesDaily task to ensure campsite standards and excellent customer service are being upheld such as implementing effective procedures for staff, daily administration including monitoring emails and answering phone calls, communicating and liasing with suppliers and other companies and monitoring stock levels and ordering across all departments. Knowledge and effective use of software and programs including - Freetobook, Bookeo, Samtouch, Wordpress, Photoshop and Canva.Planning and creating all social media marketing and managing any paid advertising campaigns. Also the design and development of the website and SEO keyword planning. I also use any data and analysis on effectiveness of these to adapt and plan next steps. Manage human resource functions such as rotas, payroll, disciplinary procedures, creation and implementation of company policies.Manage end to end business operations including hiring, health and safety, risk assessment, fire audits, EHO, and Licencing Scotland.Site maintenance including groundwork, repairs, painting and decorating and plumbing along with many other maintenance needs.Key achievementsMaintaining above 90% occupancy through May, June, July and August 2023.Achieving above 4.6 stars on Google reviews through our first year.Setting up the accomodation, shop, bar and restaurant to open only 4 weeks after receiving the keys.

Bubble Football Zone was my first steps into running my own business. I started by presenting my business plan to Business Gateway to generate funding to quickly becoming the biggest bubble football company throughout Scotland running games in 16 venues within my first year.
