I volunteer with the non-profit 501(c)(3) organization Hyperacusis Research, which seeks to find a cure for the rare, debilitating condition of pain hyperacusis.

Chartered by Congress, the Academy is an independent non-profit, non-partisan organization established to assist government leaders in building more effective, efficient, accountable, and transparent organizations. The Academy’s unique feature is its over 750 Fellows - including former cabinet officers, Members of Congress, governors, as well as prominent scholars, business executives, and public administrators - who have a deep understanding of financial management, human resources, technology, and administrative functions at all levels of government, and direct most of Academy's studies.

Managed IBM's public sector performance management practice serving many Federal government organizations including Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Energy, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Labor, and U.S. Postal Service. Responsible for delivering small and large-scale projects supporting agencies in developing financial and performance information to provide government executives with better tools and data to manage their organizations. Projects addressed both the technical (building the hardware and software infrastructure to support data analysis) and functional (conducting analysis on the data and presenting results) aspects of performance management and analytics.

Managed large practice of professionals delivering financial, operational, and quality assurance projects for the U.S. Postal Service. Work included large scale projects involving financial and statistical analysis, enterprise resource management, operational reviews, and quality control. Provided expert witness testimony on behalf of USPS before the U.S. Postal Rate Commission in the area of product pricing and development.

Managed projects for clients in the postal sector. Led engagements on regulatory reform, strategic planning, and program evaluation. Major clients included U.S. Postal Service and the postal administrations of Denmark, Ireland, Morocco, South Africa, and United Kingdom. Appeared as expert witness before U.S. Postal Rate Commission and Senate Committee on Governmental Affairs.
