I spent some time on an ambitious start-up idea that eventually did not take off. During these months, I also attempted to fix my health, and started traveling abroad again after several years of staying local.

• Oversaw the development of a micro-frontend framework that powers the company’s diverse cloud and on-premise applications. The framework offers a common, React-based UI shell, plug-and-play mechanism, and messaging capabilities between applications• Led efforts to increase framework adoption by launching new branding initiatives, authoring tutorials, and creating a new application bootstrapping tool, leading to a significant rise in usage.• Served as a tech lead for a component library utilized by a dozen of applications to build cohesive and reusable UI components.• Modernized an outdated, jQuery-based framework UI by migrating to React. • As the first web front-end engineer of the company, architected and developed numerous features, such as user collaboration, at-mention in comment fields, an industry-leading preview technology, file metadata search, audit logging and reporting, and redesigned Admin Console for enterprise admins built in React• Seven-time Box Hackathon/ Hack Day winner, including a first-place award, and a special award from the CEO• Core member of a small team that initiated and developed a new version of Box.com that had the front-end layer, including JavaScript, templates and CSS architecture completely re-written.
