Since around 1995, I have been a product interface designer and design researcher for products ranging from complex systems for expert users to everyday products for regular people. I have formal backgrounds in both Human Factors research and Industrial Design. I have led the study design, data collection, analysis, and synthesis of numerous “Phase -0” user research projects and product/system designs.I am currently using this body of knowledge and past experiences at Gordon Manor and Hopkins Manor, two assisted living facilities for the elderly. I am acting as technology implementer and decision maker.
