David Tuaty is an active entrepreneur. As a product of his entrepreneur spirit, his first career move took him from a small community in Colombia to the mountains of Tuscany. While in Italy, David partnered to create Interlinea SAS, a buying agency specializing in high end men's wear brands sold primarily in North America. After several years, he relocated to Miami, FL and his eye for fashion drove him and his wife Federica to create a subsidiary of an Italian manufacturer, Falc USA, specializing once again in high end brands, this time for children's footwear, including Moschino, Naturino, Kenzo and Oilily shoes.Several ventures into real estate through the years, including co-owning two franchises of "We Buy Ugly Houses", where David and his partners managed to thrive until the real estate bust. This gave him the experience necessary to co-found Orbis Captial, a family real estate investing business. At the same time he went back to help his brother and sister grow T-Y Group by bringing hotel amenity lines from Europe, partnering up with Groupe GM. T-Y Group was acquired by Bed Bath and Beyond in 2012, giving him the freedom to start something new. in 2017 Aromatyx was born to venture into the scent marketing world, servicing hotels, car dealerships, hospitals and country clubs. At the same time in February of 2017, David and his siblings acquire the distribution rights of POGGESI, high end outdoor umbrellas coming from Italy. In late 2018 they introduced an outdoor furniture line that launched in early 2019. His entrepreneurial spirit continues to thrive, all this in part to his affiliation to EO (Entrepreneurs Organization) where he has served on the board of the EO South Florida Chapter since 2017.
