Included 3-D radiation, k-version finite elements, nonlinear structural contact & general surface erosion, among others.- Led an 8-person focus group to verify and validate Hero. - Managed training of NASA & Air Force personnel at 2 facilities and 19 ATK analysts.o Managed the efforts of a 10-person team to provide developmental input and demonstrate a new Air Force code for automatically coupled fluid-thermal-structural analysis of solid rockets. o Achieved the first full-flight, fully coupled simulation of a large-scale solid rocket using Hero, Fluent & Abaqus. o Modeling and simulation successes led to new multi-million dollar contracts from satisfied Air Force customers. Received 7 corporate achievement awards.o 3500+ hours of thermal and structural analysis of aerospace systems.Information Systems Change Board Member (2008 to 2010)o Determined priority for all engineering analysis code modifications within Utah division of ATK (100+ engineers).o Key contact for all thermal analysis code change requests.
