Active contributor to the LabVIEW FPGA high-level synthesis compiler, which translates algorithmic, high-level LabVIEW code to VHDL, optimized for throughput, low-latency, and low-resource utilization. Responsibilities include developing compile-time optimization analyses and transformations and addressing compiler runtime performance bottlenecks.

Worked on ISI's Torc--an open-source framework for reconfigurable computing research. Extended an FPGA architecture description and simulation tool, and used it to simulate portions of a Xilinx Virtex device. Created tools for generating visualizations of routing connectivity within Xilinx FPGAs.

Contributed to development of a low-cost, loose-fitting garment for use in human motion capture studies. Primary contributions involved writing high-level software to interpret and filter IMU sensor data.

Developed ColdFusion-based web applications for the Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association and the International Missions Board.

Worked on a re-design of the intranet website, and developed and maintained other intranet-based applications, including a knowledge base.
