Novamedia/Postcode Lotteries is an international company with a social purpose, bringing together business and ideals. The funding philosophy ‘Playing for a better world’ encompasses the approach that multi-year unrestricted funding is key for civil society organisations to contribute to a better world for everyone. Unrestricted funding allows the beneficiaries and cultural partners of Novamedia/Postcode Lotteries to address those needs they feel are most relevant and urgent. It allows them to flexibly shift priorities when circumstances change. Novamedia/Postcode Lotteries is the world's 3rd largest private donor.

De Nationale Postcode Loterij werft sinds 1989 fondsen om organisaties te steunen die werken aan een rechtvaardige en groene wereld. De helft van de totale opbrengsten is bestemd voor het goede doel. De loterij is uitgegroeid tot de grootste goededoelenloterij van Nederland en steunt 95 goededoelenorganisaties. Sinds haar oprichting heeft de loterij bijna 5 miljard euro aan haar begunstigden geschonken in Nederland en daarbuiten. De Postcode Loterij is onderdeel van de Holding Nationale Goede Doelen Loterijen, waartoe ook de BankGiro Loterij en de VriendenLoterij behoren.Dankzij de 4,2 miljoen deelnemers heeft de Goede Doelen Loterijen in 2018 een omzet behaald van 1 miljard euro waardoor een bedrag van 511 miljoen euro kon worden verdeeld over goededoelenorganisaties. Als Hoofd Financiën verantwoordelijk voor het gehele financiele beheer, reporting en compliance van de Goede Doelen Loterijen en aansturing van het team Financiën van 14 Fte.Als grote incassant in Nederland, specialist op betalingsgebied en betrokken bij overleggen van de Betaalvereniging Nederland en de werkgroep WEE van De Nederlandsche Bank. Daarnaast lid van de Verenigde Groot Incassanten (VGI).

In de jaren 2010- 2014 zowel Plaatsvervangend Hoofd Financiën bij de Goede Doelen Loterijen in Nederland geweest als Deputy Finance Director bij Novamedia (met o.a. Postcode Loterijen in Zweden en de UK) en een gezamenlijke omzet van EUR 1,5 miljard. Als Plv. Hoofd Financiën mede-verantwoordelijk geweest voor het gehele financiele beheer, reporting en compliance van de Goede Doelen Loterijen/Novamedia. Aandachtsgebied was tevens de verdere uitbouw van Planning & Control en privacy compliance.

Novamedia is the originator and founder of the Dutch Nationale Postcode Loterij to raise money for charity organisations that work to create a fairer greener world. Novamedia also runs the VriendenLoterij and the BankGiro Loterij. All three of its charity lotteries in the Netherlands are part of the Holding Nationale Goede Doelen Loterijen N.V. In 2005 Novamedia launch two Postcode Lotteries abroad – the Svenska PostkodLotteriet in Sweden and The People’s Postcode Lottery in the United Kingdom. These postcode lotteries are based on the format of the Dutch Nationale Postcode Loterij. As Plv.
