I have over 25 years experience using business tools to help organizations make the business case for adopting higher standards of social and environmental performance. My work experience includes both consulting work as well as direct business experience as founder and/or CEO of a number of green businesses. I also provide business coaching advice to about a dozen sustainable business entrepreneurs and serve on the governing boards of several firms.I work with businesses, enterprising non-profits and government agencies to implement ground-breaking sustainability initiatives. I also engage in entrepreneurial pursuits that have a direct sustainability benefit. My areas of focus include: sustainable business strategy, sustainable food systems planning, financing energy efficiency in buildings, new venture startups, CEO strategy support, sustainability related government policy development, and board governance for social mission enterprises.
