Responsibility: Finance Director of the BE-LUX-FR entities, managing the GRC department (Governance, Risk and Compliance) as well as coordinating the Internal IT and legal matters. 3 main focuses:1) drive the strategic evolution of the finance department from a transactional function to an insight driven function. The key-word is transparency! We do this by modernizing our ERP and CRM systems, adapting our reporting package (PowerBi) to the business needs, having a constant focus on adapting our sales forecast and make the latest insights available to the business. 2) support our sales functions by participating in C-level discussions at our customers and partners, providing them with the latest financial information for tenders and find sustainable financing solutions. 3) Have a pragmatic approach in GRC.

Velux

Responsibility: I act as a businesspartner towards our "Residential" Business unit, providing insights in our current and future performance to the SVP Sales & Marketing and his management team. One of my main focus is people management as I am leading a team of 5 Senior Regional Finance Managers covering all European VELUX sales companies. Our main task is to carry out financial management (Rolling forecast) and business analysis and act as business partners to the local management teams. I'm in charge of project management on some of our strategic focus areas.

Velux Belgium

Responsability: I did the financial management and business analysis in VELUX sales companies in Belgium, Croatia, Slovenia, Turkey and region North (Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway + baltics) and I assisted the general managers in the running of the business by helping them making fact-based decisions. Accomplishments: 1) I was the Local transition coordinator in the outsourcing process of the bookkeeping activities to VELUX Finance India. I intensively coached the belgian colleagues, who unfortunately had to leave due to the outsourcing, to find a new challenge (2012).2) I have taken actively part in the implement the concept of VELUX Performance Process (BEYOND BUGETING), including training and education of management team and other relevant people in relevant tools and reporting. I involved the General Managers in the implementation of VELUX Performance Process, actively back-up corporate communication, and corporate change management process (2014).3) I Designed and successful implemented "Standard Processes for Financial Management in VELUX Sales Companies". I Managed the project from A - Z and established close collaboration with the BI team to create standard reports that support/add value to the standard processes. Trained the end-users and follow-up (2016).
