I worked closely with the manufacturing business to ensure best use of all applications especially the core ERP systems SAP and MFG/PRO with Eagle RF Express.This work met all the requirements expected of an employee of a USA head-quartered company in terms of Sarbanes-Oxley, US GAAP, Health Safety and Environmental and other standards & procedures.I played a major role in the very successful QAD to SAP conversion project that provided in-depth experience of modelling business processes and of vendor and material master data management and of the cut-over where I provided all financial, quality and inventory data extracts.The SAP implementation covered all modules and I've been particularly closely involved with Production Planning for Process Industries, Quality Management, Warehouse Management, Materials Management and Batch classification. I have been the lead on-site SAP contact and person primarily responsible for site SAP security since 2008.The company was previously known as Courtaulds, Akzo Nobel, Acordis & Acetate Products and the IT department as AIT Services when we supplied QAD MFG/PRO ERP hosting, consultancy and general IT services externally to many organisations (from a small window cleaning company, absorbent fibres & pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturing plants to the exports services arm of a major high street bank), delivering managed IT services to ISO 9001:2000, TickIT and BS7799:PART 2:2002 / ISO 27001 standards.

My various roles included Research and Analytical Chemist, friction material formulator, ISO 9000:1987 / BS 5750 project team member and then leading QAD MFG/PRO ERP and Eagle RF Express implementation team member.Post implementation of MFG/PRO I delivered continuous business process improvement and ERP development and upgrades to all divisions. My projects included the development of an integrated Manufacturing and Quality Control system and work with Finance to deliver long term planning solutions and the explosion of the budget or forecast to determine and analyse future material and operation requirements.
