I have been a musician and performer for most of my life, with a career that has spanned over 30 years of recording and performing. My experience ranges from local bands to international recognition for original music and my national exposure as a vocalist and guitarist with the legendary multi-platinum rock group BOSTON.While I was touring with BOSTON, I noticed that the schedule didn’t leave any time to learn about and appreciate the communities where we performed. Late-night arrivals and afternoon soundchecks didn’t provide opportunities to learn about the local people, the history and culture of the area. Sometimes the only way we knew where we were was a piece of duct tape on the monitor with the words "WOONSOCKET RI". I created David Victor Presents to offer entertainment and meaningful connections to the local community. When BOSTYX performs, we often integrate a local choir to perform with the band, or we have a local band open the show. A key to the ROCK STARS & STRIPES show is a multimedia video wall that integrates scenes from the local community, its people, the audience and the sponsors.
