The recently created Center for Digital Trust (C4DT), housed at EPFL, brings together businesses, the research community, civil society, and policy actors to collaborate, share insight, shape the research agenda, and to gain early access to trust-building technologies. C4DT develops expertise, methods, and software in order to enhance privacy, data protection, and transparency; and to lower the cost of trust and security, notably by the use of blockchains and smart contracts, machine learning and software verification, as well as to enable new applications. Its scope of research is inclusive and covers, among others, finance technologies, health-data security and privacy, technologies for trustworthy governance, democracy, and humanitarian needs.

CLIENT ADVISORY FOR INTERNATIONAL CORPORATE CLIENTS- Conducted in-depth due diligences of companies and authorized loans after credit and financial analysis.- Managed a portfolio of 175 SME clients, from local restaurants, web marketing agencies to a micro-screw manufacturer in Geneva. Then promoted to managing a portfolio of 150 international corporate clients, including an African telecom and a South American shipping enterprise.

Launched the first juice & smoothie bar chain in Switzerland, reaching 4 stores with revenues of CHF1.5 million.BUSINESS STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT AND VENTURE CAPITAL- Developed and implemented business plan. Zeste was selected by Genilem for its innovative business concept.- Raised CHF 0.7 million in capital, from successful pitch to Coop AG and Manor AG, resulting in 3 new stores.- Led various operation retail projects to improve operational efficiency.CUSTOMER INSIGHTS AND MARKETING- Conducted market research to position Zeste within the Swiss FMCG industry, and to refine its business strategy.- Developed marketing and communication strategies to deliver digital and traditional multichannel marketing solutions. Maximized social networks through a tailored campaign encouraging client engagement and third party recommendations, rapidly acquiring 1’500 members in the first month.- Performed ongoing segmentation of customer base. Shopper insights allowed for price adaptations with negligible effect on sales.
