At Sony Pictures Entertainment I oversee theatrical screenings, content distribution, and sub distribution of 3,000+ feature films from the libraries of Columbia Pictures, TriStar, ScreenGems and Sony Pictures Animation. -Responsible for close communication with domestic and international partners to facilitate all aspects of bookings, sub-distribution, print traffic, content creation, marketing management, public relations strategies, social media planning and execution.-Directly responsible for US Domestic theatrical bookings of repertory titles.-Annually reply to over 7,000 inquiries from cinemas/bookers/partners.-Manage sales relationships annually for over 300 circuits and over 4,500 cinemas in the United States.-Manage operations and deliverable for domestic and international sub distribution partners.-Plan all releases domestically of classic titles.-License titles through sub-distributors for domestic and international release.-Responsible for direct communication with international theatrical offices and sub distributors to facilitate all international catalogue screenings.-Coordinate deliveries of newly created DCPs to Deluxe and International partners for screenings.-Work with Asset Management and Global Mastering Servicing to source content for special screening projects screenings (Orchestra screenings with redacted score, Fathom releases, film festival screenings, new restoration premieres).-Responsible for all Print Operations for all Repertory bookings worldwide (Digital and 35mm Film).-Work with Sony Pictures Entertainment Theatrical Finance Team with regards to all circuit/theater financial issues/concerns.

For the last three decades, the Music Box Theatre has been the premiere venue in Chicago for independent and foreign films. It currently has the largest theater space operated full time in the city. The Music Box Theatre is independently owned and operated by the Southport Music Box Corporation. I taught in the youth and teen programs at the Second City Training Center. I created a curriculum tailored to the students in my 14 week class and worked with them to provide a unique educational experience. I also created specialized workshops and introductory sessions for groups of all ages.The Second City has created a wealth of comedic material from a legendary group of performers. The Training Center follows the traditions developed by these groundbreaking and innovative men and women while encouraging the continued growth and development of the art forms of comedy and improvisation. Today, The Second City Training Center is the largest school of improvisation and sketch comedy in the world.

In the Fall of 2005 I took on a managerial role at the Brave New Workshop as Director of Theatre Operations and Special Events. I had worked for the company for several years previously as a part time employee and I jumped at the opportunity to be brought on as a part of the Executive team for the oldest operating comedy theatre in the United States.My responsibilities included general operations, building upkeep, event management, staff management, reporting, bar and cafe operations, facility improvements, group sales, private events, and our sustainability initiative.Over the course of my three years I managed over 700 performances and special events, provided personalized service for over 50 clients per year, managed full service café, wine and beer bar, concessions stand, and increased bar/concessions sales 300% in 36 months while lowering overhead staff and operational costs. We also expanded operations into a neighboring storefront.I left the Brave New Workshop under the best of circumstances. I told them that it was time to move on. I needed a change of scenery and an opportunity to grow and the position needed a fresh pair of eyes. Over the next three months I interviewed and trained my replacement. I miss my time at the BNW, but I know the change was good for both the company and myself.
