I concept ideas for clients with a primary focus on digital/social/mobile/experiential executions. I also started the Martin Lab as an experimental and educational place for people to try out new ideas, and have since grown it to include real production and product development for clients.

Working on the Global Branding team, my responsibilities have included:• Building, recruited and managing development teams in London, UK and Bangalore, India• Concepting and launching multiple global initiatives for different products ranging from brand experiences to mobile and social applications• Selecting, collaborating and managing creative and production vendors in multiple countries

With a focus on Internet technologies, I wrote a range of articles from opinion pieces on the use of different technologies across platforms, tutorials on creating interactive work as well as reviews of software and books. During my time here, I found a real passion for learning as much as I could across a spectrum of different topics in order to have more informed decisions and to improve my writing.

Working from both a technical and creative standpoint, I concepted, developed and pushed new ideas for clients such as Microsoft, UPS, Hanes, Geico, Discover Card, BFGoodrich and Walmart.

While here, I taught graduate students, with a focus in advertising, the ins and outs of using Adobe Flash. We covered topics including vector vs. raster graphics, best practices for including audio and animation, as well as writing ActionScript in order to build interactive projects. Teaching here pushed me to not only become an expert in Flash and ActionScript, but also how to communicate complicated ideas and technical concepts to beginner and intermediate learners.

I work on projects ranging from e-learning solutions to full-blown web and desktop applications designed to streamline the process of building SCORM compliant content.

Us

Contract position to develop an interactive, self-sustaining wall simulation which would mimic the memorial wall at UNOS HQ in Richmond, VA. The idea was that this virtual wall could be a traveling exhibit where people could come in and add the names of loved ones who have donated organs to save others as well as have a picture taken of a personal item in a special photo-box and when the presentation runs, each name would be shown on the wall, with the personal item in a small cubby.

I was an Adobe certified instructor teaching Flash classes from 5 - 20 people at a time with a focus on understanding the Flash IDE and programming in ActionScript.
