Accountable for departmental budget of over 3 million dollars and capital expense plans in excess of 1 million dollars annually.

Performed scheduled preventive maintenance, identified maintenance requirements, and specified new equipment according to plant's operational requirements. Supervised and coordinated two additional maintenance mechanics assigned to department.

Responsible for preventive maintenance on equipment and buildings, for 170,000 square foot manufacturing facility. Responded to "trouble calls" throughout facility and fabricated specialty fixtures and testers for assembly lines.

Managed ship's fuel, lubricant, and boiler / feed water testing programs. Supervised the performance of scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs to gas turbine engines, generators, waste heat boilers, air compressors, pumps, and other heavy industrial equipment. Supervised personnel and plant operations from "main control center". Shared responsibility of administrative duties for 30 -40 personnel within MP Division.

Functioned as Assistant Machinery Space Supervisor responsible for scheduling maintenance on plant equipment and systems. Performed component replacement, readjustment, and operational tests on plant equipment and systems.
