Member of the products liability litigation group of an AmLaw 100 firm which served as national litigation counsel to R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. Involved in all aspects of complex, multi-jurisdictional litigation and state and federal regulatory matters.

Drafted and edited briefs, participated in moot courts, and provided research support throughout all phases of significant appellate litigation involving the State of Ohio. Assisted the Solicitor General on appellate litigation and amicus curiae involvement. Assisted other state attorneys general offices in preparing amicus curiae and party briefs before various state and federal appellate courts.

Served as general counsel and litigation counsel to state regulatory agencies. Clients included the Ohio State Chiropractic Board, the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage & Family Therapist Board, the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, the State Medical Board of Ohio, and the Ohio Department of Insurance. Practice was primarily devoted to administrative and regulatory law, including administrative hearings and appeals.
