I help companies ship a great set of client libraries for their API. Currently focused on backend code generation.

I worked on Stripe's core payment APIs [0], helping to build out some next generation infrastructure to scale more payment methods and payment volume. Before that, I was tech lead on Stripe Atlas, automating the workflow for incorporating a company and helping launch LLCs, a new banking partner, and taxes support [1]. I built a site dedicated to teaching others how to become full-stack engineers. That includes all aspects of engineering, not just algorithms or data structures. Things like build systems, testing, how to design a solution for a problem, how to iterate on that solution, frontend and backend work, etc.The site itself is built with Haskell, and you can find it at https://fullstack.industries

Worked on the Galaxy backend team, building out Meteor's Platform-as-a-Service offering. Built software that hosted Meteor apps in Amazon's Elastic Container Service, managing docker deployments across multiple availability zones.I focused mostly on the scheduler, a Go program that makes sure customer's containers are always up and distributed evenly across the system, handling failures and maximizing availability. I also designed a system for how we can migrate our infrastructure during upgrades without downtime and allowing for quick rollback if things go wrong. We didn't finish executing on this plan while I was there, but we had made significant progress.

Developed internal tools to automate processes for our Customer Service Reps (CSRs) that interact with AdSense customers. Served as Tech Lead for a team of 6 on an internal CRM system that helps our CSRs keep track of their book of business, developed using Google Web Toolkit (GWT).

Write software to communicate with the trains to monitor and control their movement, fuel consumption, and safety.

Supported CAD (Computer Aided Design) workstations, wrote software to automate updates and inventory tracking. Managed server licenses and purchases for the company's design department.

Created web applications using PHP, Javascript, and an Oracle backend.

Handled general support tickets for the company. Was in charge of all the video conference systems, and making sure they were operational for executive meetings with Japan and other major offices.
