I joined Acol Chemicals as a Chemical Sales Engineer in the mining division.Travelling throughout Zimbabwe mines to carry out test work on carbon flocculants depressants and all other chemicals pertaining to mining.Consultation to all Zimbabwean mines on chemical usage (carbon, cyanide, flocculants, depressants, acids). Minerals (gold, silver, copper, nickel chrome, coal, platinum, diamonds, emeralds), quarry works road works and gold refractory plants.

Worked as a Mine Captain on three of Lonrho mines, How Mine, Athens Mine and Tiger Reef Mine. I was in charge of production and shaft sinking operations. Promoted to Mine Captain Shaft Sinking Western Division Lonrho. I was then transferred to Athens Mine due to the experience gained on the South African mines in mining in unsafe ground where specialized ground support was necessary. During my mining career, I involved myself in the processing plants. My responsibilities also included all shaft sinking and overseeing of borehole operations.
