Mold Operator (Mo)
Utilize mold manufacturing equipment to shape multiple components for products. Remove products from the molding area by hand or by use of an automotive system. Measure, fixture, bend, trim, file, assemble, gage, or paint parts with a knife, clipper, drill, sprayer, or heat gun, and then process them for shipment or transfer to finishing process. Visually inspect parts for conformance to standards for each particular part. Pack finished parts into plastic wrap, bags, or boxes, then assemble products on pallets and into position for pickup. Frequently communicate with the shift supervisor and quality technician when any issues arise with the part, mold machine or other equipment they are tending. Responsible for the tools for the job that is running at the press they are assigned to keep the work area clean. Perform relief duties or other duties required. Follow all procedures and safety rules, complete forms, checklists, reports and labels that need data entered.
