Tamar Energy was the best-funded "Build-Own-Operate" developer of Anaerobic Digestion infrastructure in the United Kingdom. The company was executing an aggressive business plan to build and operate c 100MW of renewable energy capacity. A typical plant produces c 3MW of electricity, whilst also facilitating the diversion of c 60,000 tonnes per annum of organic waste from landfill. As Business Development and Project Manager, my primary responsibilities included the identification of commercially viable opportunities to build AD facilities in the UK and the subsequent management of these projects through to capital investment approval.www.tamar-energy.com

EcoMondis is a market leader in the production and supply of waste derived alternative fuels. The company operates a production facility in Clondalkin, Co. Dublin, producing c 140,000 tonnes of solid recoverable fuel per annum. In addition to this, EcoMondis opened offices at addresses in London, Miami and Shanghai. As International Commercial Manager, my role involved the development of international growth opportunities for the alternative fuels business. As such, the role was broad in nature and took in responsibility for engagement with primary customers (alternative fuel consumers), equipment suppliers, local authorities and political stakeholders, consultants to growth projects, financiers/ financial institutions and waste companies in the local markets targetted.
