Dave Norman integrates new satellite sensor data into operations. He focuses on incorporating commercial vendors into the government enterprise. Additionally, from 2020-2022, he was Co-Chair of the NGA Professionals Network. In this role Dave developed mentoring and collaborative experiences for the Intelligence Community. Over and above to his primary occupation in government, Dave Norman is Director of Program Operations, Fundraising, and Outreach for the Walking with Africans Foundation. Dave passionately dedicates himself to helping other people both in the United States and abroad. His first interactions with Kenyans took place at a young age in 1993 through a church work camp in Kibwezi, Kenya. Ever since then he has stayed firm in a long-term commitment to helping that community. Dave became involved with microfinance on a trip to Kenya in 2008. Subsequently, he studied the topic at American University. In addition to his work for The Walking with Africans Foundation. Dave’s outside interests include volunteering for the National Park Service.
