Responsible for the commercial development and contract negotiations of large complex Enterprise and Government customer deals. Led customer contract negotiations to successful close on Telstra’s largest and most complex customer deals, of approximately $300m-$600m per annum, over last seven years. Eg; Major Supermarket chain, Government Panel, Telstra Health for Federal Government, National Broadband in Education sector, major Bank, major Federal Government Agency. I also led successful customer negotiations for two key Telstra International customers in Singapore and Germany. Recognised leader and record of high achievement at Telstra, winning the Excelerate Award in 2016, and Extreme Award in 2012, for the top 200 performers in the company, and at Andersen/Ernst & Young.

My role involved completing a Business Review of a company on behalf of a secured lender, conducting formal appointments such as Receiverships and Administrations, and Consulting Projects. An example of a major Administration was Ansett, where I was responsible for determining the strategy for the trading and subsequent sale of the Domestic Cargo (DC) and International Cargo Handling (ICH) businesses. I completed a restructuring of the DC and ICH business and workforce, which resulted in a turnaround of DC and ICH from loss making, to being cash flow positive. I managed a protracted sale and negotiation of the ICH business to Patrick Corporation for an amount which exceeded the Administrator’s expectations, resulting in the transfer of 80 employees.

I led and managed a team of six Andersen staff full time at Telstra for two years responsible for successfully resolving major commercial issues with ten of Telstra’s reseller customers. My role included,- developing the strategy to resolve outstanding commercial issues with the customer. This involved obtaining input on the current status of the customer relationship through reviewing the file and meeting with the Sales, Credit, Operations and Legal team in Telstra,- analysis of damages claims lodged by the customer against Telstra,- analysis of customers financial statements including preparation of expert witness reports as required,- review of customers outstanding debt,- Negotiate with directors of the customer on behalf of Telstra to settle damages claims, obtain repayment of outstanding debt, and ensure terms and conditions of new contracts were satisfactory to Telstra
