Led the effort to establish LCFS' social media presence and played a key role in developing its social media policy. I created and maintained agency social-media sites; building engagement and reinforcing agency brand through these pages. Included were Facebook (two pages), Twitter, LinkedIn (two pages), Pinterest and Google+ (nine pages). I also oversaw the agency’s YouTube page. I created content for and maintained three agency websites and served as a team leader in the redesign projects for these sites. I wrote and edited articles and speeches for the agency president and CEO, as well as writing and editing external and internal publications, brochures, annual reports, websites, email, fundraising appeals, event communications and press releases. I’m very comfortable creating content for many different audiences, something that helped bring a more current and engaging approach to agency communications.I served as a project leader in the development of LCFS' brand promise statement and development and delivery of brand promise training to all agency staff.I provided input into departmental budget planning and assistance in meeting budget targets.Position ended as a result of layoffs.

Helped implement the employee communication process and communications tools (including intranet, revised staff newsletter) that were vital to creating a cohesive unified workforce at a time following a merger and the creation of this new division (Follett Higher Education Group). Oversaw continual revision and refinement of these tools as the workforce and management teams grew and changed along with their communication needs.
