- Managed 6-person development team for a large Oracle data warehouse application supporting a List Rental business. Duties included gathering business requirements, designing large enhancements, ensuring quality and on-time deliverables.- Managed 10-person web development team supporting 30+ websites in multiple platforms including EPiServer (.NET based), eLogic (internal asp), and Nstein (PHP Smarty) for Reed Business’ portfolio. Duties included ensuring business needs were met, coding standards developed and adhered, hiring developers and contractors. - Increased website availability from 80% to 99.7% and improved average response time from 10 seconds to 3.- Built, maintained and executed Informatica jobs to load event and conference list into database for additional marketing and subscription promotions.

- Lead designer & developer for a star schema large data warehouse (Over 1 Billion rows) Oracle 10G application for the company’s List Rental business using PL/SQL via Toad.- Integrated ETL DataFlux tool into system and business processes for data profiling, data governance, address hygiene, flexible data cleansing utility, and framework for server based processing. - Continually enhanced database application to improve performance employing many Oracle 10G advanced features such as partition swapping, and dynamic query hints. Resulted in run time reduction from 2 weeks to 3 days.- Developed framework in Korn Shell for Appworx job execution.- Designed, built and maintained list extractor program in C++ for individual product and vertical market based lists.

- Lead developer for projects for a large US Based Telecom client. Developed EAI software in an architecture that consists of interfaces to existing operations support systems, Java Applet front end, C/C++ middleware that contains business rules and acts as a transaction processor, and Oracle8i. Lead contact for technical issue resolution. Developed tools for testing and documentation generation. Participated in applying Extreme Programming principals to the existing project’s life cycle.- Functional Architect for on-site client implementation of a three-tier client server system using Smalltalk as the GUI front-end, Oracle middleware communicating with legacy IBM 3270 CICS transactions. - Lead Technical designer for a three-tier client server system utilizing Microsoft Visual C++ as the GUI layer, CORBA as the middleware communication layer, and C++ for the business domain/persistence layer. - Systems Developer for a distributed, client/server, object-oriented, financial loan origination system. Designed and developed a sophisticated credit-score review notebook using Smalltalk. The notebook included dynamic page additions and background processing. Developed unit-test procedures for testing domain objects. - Programmer during implementation support for a mobile communications customer support system in Düsseldorf, Germany, utilizing a COBOL, CICS, MVS/ESA environment. Participated as sole member of the performance test team. Identified, analyzed, and corrected job streams and file sizes. Combined JCL jobs and procs to streamline performance.
