Elected to serve on the 2008 SCADJA board as President supporting a group dedicated to raising the quality and professionalism of the mobile entertainment industry. The local chapter is one of the larger chapters in the National ADJA and we have members from throughout Southern California.

Ecological Resources Specialist (ERS), reviewed biological reports to ensure compliance with Western Riverside County Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan (MSHCP). Coordinated with applicants, property owners, consultants, State, County, and local governments on a variety of private and public projects. Complex projects included proposed mining activities and intense residential development. ERS implemented the requirements necessary to demonstrate a project’s compliance with the MSHCP, including preparation of Determination of Biologically Equivalent or Superior Preservation (DBESP) reports. Additionally, ERS conducted habitat assessments within Western Riverside County as well as assisted in development and implementation of policies and procedures regarding the MSHCP as well the future Coachella Valley MSHCP.

Monitor revegetation and habitat restoration efforts, including the removal of exotic vegetation. Conduct focused studies on coastal California gnatcatcher, least Bell’s vireo, cactus wren, brown-headed cowbird, desert tortoise, raccoon, and other wildlife within southern California. Contribute to the creation of a variety of maps and collection of spatial data in the Geographic Information System (GIS) department. Manage the GIS group for 9 months as Interim Manager. Supervise personnel and train new personnel on various GIS and GPS applications. Chair of the Computer Committee, overseeing the implementation of IT policies and procedures.
