Providing support to the supply chain functions of Scheduling, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Distribution and Transportation. Authored process change and facilitated improvement sessions.

Provided direct contact and direction to our broker partners implementing promotional presentations, communicating Infomax data, creating velocity reports and visiting stores in each market. Served the Southeast region working with chain stores such as Winn Dixie, Publix, Sweet Bay, Ingles, Food Lion, Harris Teeter, Kroger, Walmart and others. Served the Central region working with independent stores such as those affiliated with Associated Wholesale Grocers and the HyVee group.

Managed all aspects of corporate transportation activities. Organizing and delivering our products to all 48 states. Responsibilities also included the private fleet, for-hire carriers, backhaul customers, full service truck shop, clerical office support and truck drivers. Performed all Human Resource functions, safety functions, budgets, P&L analysis and capital expenditures.

Little Rock, Arkansas Area

Managed the start up of the company managed distribution center shipping to all 48 states, thus closing five public warehouses that were providing 3PL services for the same. After acquiring the Household Products Division of Black and Decker the volume of business increased 400% and my responsibilities transitioned from General Manager of the distribution center to Corporate Transportation Manager.

Little Rock, Arkansas Area

Managed fleet operations including over-the-road, intermodal, regional and brokerage services. Also managed all orders and organized for truckload shipments throughout the nation primarily for weekly deliveries to Sam's Club Stores prior to the conception of the Sam's Club Distribution Centers.
