Responsible for providing leadership, program planning, and implementation of new SAMHA Housing grant which provides housing services to individuals with substance use and mental health disorders. Communicate with SAMHSA representatives and establish all processes and start up documentation. Overall programmatic and administrative leadership for the SAMHSA grant. Responsible for developing a work plan to ensure attainment of project goals and deliverables. Oversite staff including hiring, orientation, training, discipline, evaluation, and termination. Work with the staff to ensure meeting milestones and deliverables of the project, working with staff to ensure tracking of required data and reporting requirements. Ensure program complies with internal and external evaluation requirements including those outlined by the GPRA.

Responsible for overall programmatic and administrative functions for the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP). Work with the Grant Officer’s Technical Representative (GOTR) to develop and manage a program budget, including the development of performance goals and service delivery. Create and submit option year grant award requests as outlined by DOL.

Provide a full range of counseling/case management services to incarcerated individuals with substance abuse/dependency problems. Develop and implement treatment plans and document monthly updates. Provide individual counseling and completes related documentation. Provide caseload group counseling and completes related documentation. Write progress reports as necessary and discharge summaries. Support the WestCare philosophy and mission and promote key principles of care.

Responsible for providing leadership to staff providing services to adults with SUD and co-occurring needs in Fresno California. Provide programmatic leadership to the Admissions, Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient, and Fresno City College programs. Responsible for supervision of staff providing intake, counseling, case management, and clinical services to clients. Ensure Quality Assurance, Contract management and licensing requirements.
