Organized, marketed and hosted events, recruited speakers, managed financial and hosting sponsors, created and managed LAMP-based website. Implemented and operated website-integrated third-party online event registration, membership management and mass email system.

Startup focused on avatar simulation and immersion virtual reality for military markets. Developed a real-time human motion capture system comprising wearable microprocessor-based active targets, triangulated video cameras, and model-based tracking software on a Linux platform. Developed active target hardware and software in 8080 assembler and performed engineering simulations in C, and managed a developer team based in Irkutsk, Russia to develop the tracking software. Successfully deployed at US Army Tank Automotive and Armaments Command as a $750,000 remote vision system for driverless weapon delivery.

As Senior Partner & Director of Technology, I managed Martlet’s Silicon Valley presence and appraised pre-IPO software companies world-wide as investment prospects, providing a deep exposure to enterprise software from a users perspective. I was responsible for this company's IT infrastructure and created their highly acclaimed website.

Leveraging licensed IP for a Macintosh computer network router, developed advanced router incorporating the full suite of Apple networking protocols plus TCP/IP, DECnet, Remote Access, Network Modem Sharing and In-band Management. The product achieved total sales of $10,000,000 from prestigious customers worldwide. Achieved many awards and favorable product reviews in the trade press, including a coveted 4-mouse award from Mac User Magazine.

Assembled and led a team to create a full suite of software-based disc and communications controllers as compatible add-ins for DEC minicomputers. Grossed world-wide sales of $30,000,000 over approximately 5 years, including a $1,000,000 limited licensing deal to a competitor. Achieved many world-firsts with these designs in the areas of compactness, on-board diagnostics and caching. Won several awards for services to the Australian computer industry and for export achievement, and was a frequent keynote speaker at computer conferences.
