Manage store and warehouse operations for Target store in Hemet, California, including financial performance, team culture, and talent development. Lead 5 direct reports and 140 team members. Hold full P&L responsibility. ▶ Oversee store’s warehouse and fulfillment center that handles online orders in addition to receiving inbound trucks. ▶ Significantly reduced labor hours for time spent unloading trucks and stocking the merchandise by analyzing every step of the process to eliminate waste.

Led the Inbound Department for 1M+ square-foot Target Distribution Center that processes up to 1M cartons of merchandise weekly. Oversaw 8 operations managers and 120 total team members across 4 shifts. Served as acting general manager of the DC in boss's absence. Oversaw safety for department.▶ Played a critical role in proactively leading process improvements at the distribution center, including a 52% reduction in cycle time and significant cost savings achieved by implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies.▶ Ranked in Top 10 out of 30 DCs for every metric, including total productivity and cost per carton.▶ Lowered turnover, boosted employee engagement, decreased unsellable rate, and influenced cross-functional leaders to achieve a large reduction in defect rate.

Oversaw 2–3 stores in the absence of GMs for those stores.▶ As District Training Sponsor, developed long-range talent planning for 10 stores; onboarded new store managers; coordinated classes and trainings; and served as an instructor for Target classes. ▶ Boosted revenue by making improvements to product assortment and merchandising, reducing out-of-stocks by nearly 2x, and driving loyalty through new Red Card accounts. ▶ Attained #1 ranking in food profits out of 55 Super Targets through effective inventory management, pricing, and fostering of customer loyalty.
