In my role of Managing Director (2014)  U.S. Rates Trader  Branch Manager – NYC Capital Markets I was accountable for balancing a strong risk-mitigating and compliance-driven culture to drive and sustain profitability and growth while serving as designated rates trader for U.S. agencies, focusing on inquiry trading for salesforce, and generating trade ideas. Additionally, I leveraged established relationships with accounts and street to monitor available inventories and liquidity, created and maintained cost effective policies/processes, adhered to risk limits and adjust hedges as needed, reconciled daily sales commission blotters, and confirm timely trade settlements.

As Senior Vice President – US Rates Trading and Branch Manager for six years, I was recognized for having: • Contributed approximately $25 million (personal and team production) in revenue, having commenced New Jersey regional branch with team that was inaugurated at RBC (including mergers) in 1982.• Established the firm as a major participant in U.S. agency sector, which increased number of clients/ transactions, boosted profitability, and attracted new sales talent. • Expanded human capital nearly 5-fold via combining the New Jersey and New York City offices (2013).

My 20+ year tenure began in Municipal Bond Sales with Liss Tenner & Goldberg (LTG), which was acquired by Broadway Financial (BFIS)/First Institutional Securities (FISC) in 1986, where additional trading responsibilities included corporate bonds and certificates of deposit (CDs). BFIS/FISC was subsequently purchased by RBC in 2003.Several notable achievements I delivered during my employment, included:• Augmenting company revenue by $70+ million.• Originating the profitable taxable trading desk (corporate bonds/agency debt/taxable municipals and CDs) to supplement existing municipal business at LTG, and integrated business into RBC platform following the merger in 2003. • Cultivating and introducing multitudinous relationships, including primary and regional dealers.
