Accomplishments: Took over shipping department that was at $500,000/month and within 9 months averaged +$1,100,000. On-time delivery to customers went from 80% to +90% monthly. Increased permanent staffing from 3 to 6, but will oversee up to 12 employees as needed.Responsibilities: Included but not limited to; daily reports with scrap codes, inventory control, order picking, weekly cycle counts and finished goods inventory, daily disposition of parts from forge shop which include outside processes such as machining, heat treat, paint and Magnaflux, trained as level one Magnaflux inspector, set work expectations within department, created and trained employees in work instructions and procedures

Responsibilities: Activities include, but not limited to: Ergonomics project with job safety analysis and employee problem solving teams with union members, air permitting, forklift training, accident investigation training, safety team meetings, monthly injury reports, safety orientations, monthly inspections, safety manual, PPE, hearing conservation, hazard communication. Authorized internal quality auditor for ISO9000-2000, support quality programs and ISO9000 certification at two of the forge plants.
