Music Production: Mel Torme, John Mayer, and many more.Before I worked in voice over & speaking, it was music.I grew up playing piano & drums. Highlights: Being a young kid and playing with an all-adult orchestra with the show Godspell, playing keyboards in local bands, getting one of the first MIDI keyboards and key-tars. During college I purchased a 4-track recorder and began recording & mixing. Voila, the birth of Edge Studio!Post college, I ran Edge Studio and concurrently engineered at a huuuge studio. We put out multiple albums for major bands. Highlights: Deep Purple (2.5 albums), Liberty DeVitto (Billy Joel's drummer teaching me how to twirl drum sticks), Joe Lynn Turner (watching him 'tryout' for a band).Meanwhile Edge Studio continued getting larger bands - and a few years later, I left the huuuge studio to run Edge full time (a very tough decision). But it worked out. Highlights: John Mayer (recording, mixing, and playing keys and drums for him), Mel Torme (mixing - an amazing experience), and putting out over 150 albums.But the drugs in the studio were too insane. And I'm totally clean. So In 2007, I switched to a drug-free studio and, as expected, lost many bands. So what else do you do with microphones and acoustically treated rooms? Switch to voice over. The birth of Edge Studio V2!
