    Initially I was posted at NJIT, paid through DWD to assist a graduate student in the setup, construction and some of the testing of an experimental floor system designed to better distribute a dynamic load. After a little over two years when that project was completed, I was moved horizontally to a $23 million residential project on Pennsylvania ave in Elizabeth NJ where I drove a Volvo plus size front loader and assisted with the installation of a drainage pipe. (an $850,000 job ). • Installed and soldered approximately 400 assorted strain gauges to the steel support beams below a 440ft^2 floor system and connected them to mother board towers to feed data into a computer. Sufficient data was later collected. • Cut, grinded, sanded, and welded stainless and iron beams to construct the floor and support system. Between the corrugated floor metal and shear strips, screwed down several hundred self-drilling Tek screws. Aided in the pouring of 220 ft^3 of concrete over the support system which was later cut into 6 strips and tested. Tests were ultimately successful.
