Lead a team of dedicated conservation professionals to maximize IC’s impact on biodiversity, oceans, climate, and island communities. Lead the development and implementation of strategies to demonstrate the benefits of island restoration for biodiversity and oceans, establishing that island restoration has significant benefits for climate resilience and community well-being, and developing and mainstreaming innovative methods for island restoration. Manage the Impact and Innovation teams and, along with other members of IC leadership, lead the implementation of the Strategic Vision.

• Develop GIS capability and capacity within the organization so that GIS demands are met.• Assist Project Leads in developing geospatial tools and databases to satisfy project needs, improve operational efficiency, and reduce project cost.• Develop modeling tools to statistically analyze project success.• Develop GIS project opportunities with partner organizations to support island restoration projects.• Horizon scan for technical innovations and spatial database technology that can increase project efficiency and efficacy.

Lead technical planning and implementation of project to remove invasive rats from Desecheo National Wildlife Refuge, Puerto Rico in partnership with US Fish and Wildlife Service and USDA-APHIS.

• Manage the spatial data of all Island Conservation eradication programs so that information is immediately available for project decision making.• Collect and interpret all spatial information during aerial rodenticide broadcast eradications to ensure programs are following legal and operational obligations, including in: the Galapagos Islands, Palmyra Atoll, Desecheo, and Wake Atoll.• Develop a GPS/PDA system for collecting, storing, analyzing and displaying field data related to feral cat and rodent bait station projects.• Create a customized user-interface for a remote trap monitoring system that shows active locations and generate automated reports from project database.• Support development of an invasive vertebrate detection probability model to estimate the amount of effort needed to be statistically confident in successful eradication.• Test quality of various GPS units, including differential GPS, and determine the appropriate level of accuracy to meet different projects requirements.• Advise and assist other conservation organizations in creating custom data collection tools to inform managers of eradication programs.

• Develop visual tours in Google Earth for island projects that convey the importance of Island Conservation's work to potential funders, partners, and colleagues. • Design KML layer architecture that can be used as templates for future project presentations and train IC staff to use the layers. • Recommend ways Google Earth can best be used to facilitate future fundraising, data management, and project planning for Island Conservation projects.

• Establish a comprehensive campus meadow management plan that reviews management strategies and impacts of proposed campus development to optimize grassland maintenance techniques. • Create a wiki to manage and display information concerning campus meadows and grasslands. • Oversee intern and volunteer work on annual projects including: erosion control, trail maintenance, invasive plant removal, seed collection, native plant restoration, and grassland monitoring.

• Responsible for the safety and well-being of 60 students.• Mentored and facilitated training for 15 incoming residential advisers. • Coordinated and secured funding for student programs from backpacking trips to study break activities.

• Programmer for Computational Chemistry group to help expedite drug design. • Utilized protein visualization program to compare the volume spaces and chemical interactions in protein binding pockets.
