My extensive professional career has focused on simulation and modeling in the Aviation and Aerospace fields.In my tasks I have used C, C++, FORTRAN, Ada, Assembly language, UNIX, LINUX, Windows, Rational Clearcase and Clearquest, make, SCM tools rcs and cvs, and Microsoft Excel, Access databases and SQL.I have added software capabilities to real-time military and commercial flight simulators, and have verified and validated (IV&V) complex software systems such as an embedded On-Board-Flight-Program.I have analyzed predicted Air Traffic performance vs. actual performance and reported this regularly to the customer. (Performance analysis). I have worked on improving Air Traffic Control operations.I've been personally responsible, full Software Life Cycle (SDLC), for several major tools, such as POST, a trajectory analysis tool widely available from NASA, including making several major upgrades to it, and re-hosting it on a variety of platforms and operating systems. I have written and implemented new equations for better rocket launch performance.My goal is to solve more engineering problems like those problems, and to add to my skill-set so that I can solve many more problems too!
