Experience includes:• Counsel and represent major international offshore drilling company in multiple Congressional and agency investigations and hearings, and advise on changes in MMS/BOEMRE regulations• Represent major national oil company (NOC) in all matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) related to natural gas• Negotiate expansions of multiple major interstate natural gas pipelines and storage facilities on behalf of a significant Marcellus Shale producer• Advise multiple clients on policy and regulatory matters related to U.S. LNG exports• Advise multiple global commodities trading companies regarding capacity/transportation rights and obligations at LNG terminals and on downstream pipelines in the U.S. and Europe• Represent and advise Canadian province on LNG matters and cross-border impacts of U.S. climate change policy on provincial businesses• Assist two international oil and gas companies in the development of stakeholder engagement plans for siting LNG terminals on the East Coast, including coordinating with local officials• Strategize directly with senior political and legal advisors to two U.S. governors regarding the siting of LNG import facilities, including safety and security matters, environmental issues, and local community interaction• Advise major European-based offshore wind power developer on issues associated with penetrating the U.S. offshore wind market, including Minerals Management Service (MMS) leasing issues and legislative and regulatory developments
