I was Co Chair (with Laurie Byrum) for Adobe Tech Summit for the past 13 months. The Tech Summit is a 2800 person conference for Adobe's entire engineering community. We featured over 100 breakout sessions, 90 posters, many community events, including an AR/VR Pavilion, Future of Shopping display, Robot Challenge, night time Tech Fair (with 100 displays), Film & Art Festivals, Data Science Challenge, customer events, a flash mob, and fantastic main stage speakers from Adobe's own leadership team as well as luminaries from Google, Uber, Microsoft, CastAR, Intuit and much more! The Adobe Document Cloud is a thriving subscription based service, with a rapidly growing number of paid subscribers.Our client stack is HTML / CSS / Backbone.js / jquery / require.js. Our server stack is python/django running in AWS calling out to an array of attached services from Adobe and Amazon. We also have some super nifty deployment technology that is basically running ahead of what can you do with AWS. We're making heavy use of Analytics for BI and for Operational purposes.It's very fun for me to be in the vanguard of Adobe's transition to cloud computing.I am managing 4 teams, working across the entire stack, including Analytics for the Document Cloud.Previously at Adobe, I led entire org out of waterfall to a fully agile process. Led org from quarterly deployment to biweekly and then weekly deployment. Led org in transition from Flash/Flex/.NET stack to HTML5/CSS/JS/Django/Python stack. I'm now very focusing on innovation and data driven development.In my free time, I spend a lot of time on machine learning, functional programming, as well as music, cycling, family, friends.
