For almost as long as I can remember, I’ve been absolutely fascinated by light. I got my start designing and building a telescope when I was in high school. That led to studying optical engineering in the Georgia Tech Physics department, then doing it for thirty years at the Georgia Tech Research Institute and two more years at DigitalVision.I bring that deep experience in optics and signal processing to MicroDynamics, the leading manufacturer of high-precision microscopes for the printing industry. I am proud to work with the MicroDynamics engineering team as we support hundreds of our customers and develop the next generation of quality control instrumentation.

  As Chief Engineer, I lead the MicroDynamics engineering team in the production of high precision optical metrology instruments for the printing and machining industries. My skills include lens and optical system design, opto-mechanical design, signal and image processing, modeling and simulation of electro-optical systems, optical testing, radiometric/photometric measurements, and software development.
