Position Summary:Responsible for developing expertise on the energy efficiency of consumer electronics, appliances and other energy efficiency topics. Responsible for translating scientific work into market outcomes by creating visuals that effectively communicate data and conclusions, writing reports recommending specific policy actions, and giving highly visual presentations of research findings to industry members, government agencies, and other stakeholders.Example Duties:- Oversee the tracking and verifying data quality and energy programs performance. - Collaborate with the R&P team in its work on the energy efficiency of consumer electronics, office equipment and residential lighting, as well as smart homes and other related topics.- Develop expertise on the energy efficiency of a variety of devices.- Work with a laboratory technician or individually in the lab to gather data, maintain data sets, and estimate energy use and savings potential.- Review and analyzes financial and market data.- Assist with the creation of summary budget documents that enable program experience to be translated effectively into proposals.- Works in matrixed-managed teams to provide technical expertise for client proposals and RFP’s.- Prepares and publishes briefs and industry papers for clients, industry partners, and/or governmental agencies. - Attend conferences and seminars, and conduct technical research. - Translate scientific work into market outcomes by establishing relevant contacts with industry and subject-matter experts.- Write reports recommending specific policy actions.- Give highly visual presentations of research findings to industry members, government agencies, and other stakeholders.

Produced a written study which affirmed the viability of renewable hydro power and made recommendations to the Fort Independence Tribal Council. Topics presented in the study include flow data, hydroelectric models, environmental impacts, project policies and project analysis.
