    Since recordable media is at the declining stages of the product life cycle, we do have to work quickly to maximize our immediate sales volume. However, for the time being, we are swimming with the “Great White Sharks” in a very price competitive” commodity” sector of the consumer electronic pool. Therefore, it is even more crucial for us to try to differentiate ourselves with the powerful “sharks” in our industry. Our solution is simple. If we don’t have the deep pockets like the “sharks”, we should consider using “licensing” as our weapon to combat for the diminishing retail shelve spaces. January of 2007, KDT USA was granted the Disney license for blank recordable media for US, Canada, and Mexico market. We were given the license due to our willingness to invest in brand new state-of-the-art printing machineries and provide the market with premium 3-D quality print onto a low value commodity blank disc. Our goal is not to be in direct competition with the “sharks”, but rather try to capture the small premium niche market. Within 3 months of the launch, we were able to develop a winning sales plan and see our products being sold in major retailers within our licensed territories. This is especially true for the Mexico and Canada market. KDT USA is also very happy to be working with a brand new license. As of January or 2009, we will be working with Marvel Entertainment within the US, Canada, and Mexico market. In the near future, we will be launching blank media with popular Marvel superheroes.
