Founding Director David Wu, founded Biophilic® in 2019, with over 15 years of experience in the Garden Design & Landscape Construction, he is an accredited professional in ABC water management and Biotopes Bio-Engineering. He is also a prominent Green advocate championing Biophilia and Biophilic design principles in Singapore and beyond. He has gained experiences working with various types and scales of garden, SkyRise Greenery and landscape architectural projects ranging from private residences to large mixed-used developments, across Asia Pacific, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. David is driven by his intrinsic interest in connecting urban green space for human health & wellness, sustainable urbanism and its change-making potential in shaping responsive environmental solutions to modern issues of water and climate change. As the Managing Director of Biophilic® Singapore, he leads a team of experts, working with corporations and communities to design and implement solutions for complex challenges such as urbanization, climate change, ecosystem degradation and inequalities. He leverages data, scientific evidence, and local realities and current affairs to inform decision making and strategy plannings. David is also the founder of CLIMA-Tech Asia, a business connectivity platform that brings together stakeholders and actors from across the climate tech industry. David has enhanced his skills in urban environmental design, geospatial technology, corporate strategy planning, business innovation and organizational leadership by completing executive education programs from prestigious institutions such as Yale School of Management, Singapore Management University, MIT Sloan School of Management, and Tsinghua University. He is a frequent speaker and organizer of events dedicated to sustainability 4.0, natural mineral pool, water tech, climate change and future food programs
