Responsible for overall leadership of the Department in delivering on the targets as outlined in the County Integrated Development Plan, Annual Development Plan and Governor’s Manifesto. Key deliverables included oversight in the five directorates within the department, formulation of policies, legislative proposals and regulations for the sector, liaison with the sectoral committee in the County Assembly with respect to budget making & parliamentary oversight, engagement with sector stakeholders including National Government and other state actors, private sector and the general public.

Accountable for business acquisition & portfolio management of the corporate book within the Coast Region. Portfolio size: Assets, Kes. 1.2 billion & Deposits Kes. 700 million as at 31.12.2020.Key deliverables new business acquisition, preparation/ review of credit proposals, service management, portfolio management & monitoring, optimization of returns per customer, routine development of products & policies, general relationship management.

Was responsible for business acquisition & portfolio management of 12 customer names in the Large Corporates Segment. Built a performing portfolio of Kshs. 4.6 billion on balance sheet assets, Kshs 2.6 billion off- balance sheet & Kshs. 2.1 billion in liabilities.

Was responsible for management of 14 customers comprising of Large & Mid- Corporates with primary objectives of building long-term relationship and maximizing portfolio contribution through new business acquisition and developing strategic alliances.
