The McKenzie Company (old family name) has been in existence for over thirty three years. It started as a part time business, but became full time when I retired from IBM in 1997. Current specialities are 1) Residential Real Estate in the Edmonds/Seattle area, 2) Rare Book sales, and 3) Woodworking. As everybody knows, there have been huge challenges in Real Estate for the past four years, but there have also been opportunities - all one has to do is look for them, and try a bit harder! I have enjoyed moderate success in this tough market for the past three years, and look forward to representing you in a buying or selling situation in this area!

Development Programmer for the first half of my career, then switched to Sales and Marketing for the second half of my career. Worked in the Boulder, CO development site as a programmer for 12 years, then switched to Marketing as a Sales Representative in the Boulder/Denver area to start with, and finished up my IBM career on the IBM Boeing Team in Seattle from 1987 through 1992. After retiring from IBM, worked for five years as a Business Partner for Business Continuity and Recovery Systems.
