In my previous role, I directed teams for a complex infrastructure migration for WSIB legacy application. As part of the larger team I will be a Project Manager for the infrastructure Desktop conversion at TD from XP to Windows 7.Created project documents, handled risk and issues logs. Appointed to a cruise liner for a 6 month engagement reporting to the Ship Senior Officer with full accountability for controlling IT operations 24/7 throughout the ship.Expedite resolutions to multi-dimensional and complex technology issues on a multiple server and highly specialized technical system on the bridge, navigational equipment and a standard network for 200 end-users.Communicate with the land-based head office to facilitate the transportation of various components to the next port of call as required.Interact with a demanding client base each with their own agenda requiring swift and expert opinion and resolution, to ensure seamless day to day technical operations for staff and guests.

Canadian Insurance CompanySelected to lead a 3 person team charged with devising and deploying a project plan to move a data centre without business interruption.Created the solution providing a redundant site for disaster recovery and successfully expedited the move for 800 servers without compromising risk.Canadian Telecom CompanyDeveloped and presented a compelling solution to key companies influencers to capture a $70 million contract to outsource 300 servers and the hosting facilities to India.Oversaw the transition of the technology to meet companies mandate.

Assigned by senior management to take control of floundering and disjointed projects with clients in financial institutions, telecoms and natural resources to rebuild customer confidence in IBM.
