Reporting to National Operations Effectiveness Centre (NOEC) Manager, this role willundertake several key duties within the centre to ensure accurate and consistentmonitoring, resource planning for optimal production hours of Emergency AmbulanceService (EAS), logistical coordination of the operational fleet and ability to makerecommendations for the Real time Resource Escalation Action Plan (REAP) .• Performance monitoring. Coordinating and reporting on clinical andoperational performance KPIs and insights. Tracking incidents that missed atarget and why, to develop recommendations to proactively improveperformance and efficiency.• Real time Resource Escalation Actions Plan (REAP). Tracking the differentvariables of the real time REAP and recommending actions to limit the real timeREAP level.• Emergent roster planning. Supporting the National Rosters teams to provide24/7 roster monitoring and management of roster changes at short notice tomaximise production hours, minimise recall and optimise skill mix.• Logistical coordination. Manage the movement of EAS fleet and equipment tomaintain optimal utilisation. This includes arranging and tracking the logisticalmovement of vehicles and equipment to enable rotation, repair and servicing.• Destination management. Monitoring the time ambulances spend at hospitaland escalating to the Operational Effectiveness Supervisor or NOEC Managerwhen required, in order to improve resource availability. Collecting informationfrom DHBs on bed capacity by location to ensure destinations have the capacityto receive certain patients in major incidents.
