Industrial Engineer by the Bolivian Catholic University (Cochabamba-Bolivia, 2007) and PhD candidate in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency by the university of Zaragoza. He obtained a MSc in Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency (Zaragoza-Spain, 2012) and two Postgraduate degrees; Renewable Energies (Zaragoza-Spain, 2010) and EcoEfficiency and Energy Markets (Zaragoza-Spain, 2009), all of them by the university of Zaragoza. He started working in CIRCE fundation in 2009 as Researcher in the Energy Efficiency Area, then as Project Manager developing projects in the fields of environmental assessment at urban and building level, urban planning and environmental performance of main urban infrastructures. In 2016 he was appointed as Head of the Urban Sustainability Group managing a group of experts in Urban Sustainability and developing R&D projects in the field of Sustainable Urban Development, Integrated Assessment (Energy, Economy, Environment modelling) for technological innovation related to energy generation and use, municipal solid waste management, urban mobility, and building renovation. He is author and co-author of several publications in peer-review articles and book chapters on Life Cycle Assessment, Sustainable Building Assessment, Waste Prevention and Management and Energy Efficiency.
